News of Axver's day:

Item #1: For those of you who like to spot the "signs of the End Times", read the newspaper as if it's prophecy, hunt out the Antichrist, and all that, I have some material for you to prove the End truly is drawing near. If you check my last.fm statistics for last week, you will see that not only did U2 fail to make my top ( Read more... )

I had U2 at 29th with 12 plays. Outdone the master this week, I see! *proud*

At least you have U2 in your list every week.

I'm surprised your weekly charts don't look like this:

U2: 20 plays --> Treasure: 20 plays

My harddrive got wiped a while ago, and I lost the CD with Treasure on it...yes, I'm in pain.

U2 will be back fo' shizzle. Especially after da concizzle.

Let's cross our fingers for One Tree Hill.

Good one.

I suppose I've had some U2 burnout lately. It means I'm not too fussed about the setlists, though. The concerts are going to be awesome.

The world needs One Tree Hill.

Hey, DO you have an idea of who the Antichrist is, by chance?
It's a weird question, but I've been totally curious about the answer lately. What personage alive in the world today could be the actual tool of Satan? Hussein? Nope, something tells me that if you want to be an evil overlord, you'd best not start out so obviously cruel. If you want my guess, it's going to be a future leader in the Middle East, or maybe even the next elected president of the US. What say?

'Hey, DO you have an idea of who the Antichrist is, by chance?'

I tend to be skeptical of literally interpreting Revelation. Honestly, I haven't studied eschatology in so long that I can't give good arguments on why or why not you'd want to believe the Antichrist is a literal person, but I certainly wouldn't be shocked if it turns out to be symbolic prophesy. After all, Revelation is chock-full of complex imagery!

Also, some think the Roman Emperor Nero was the Antichrist.

... and others think Bush is. ;)

Bono's the Antichrist, it says in Bono On Bono.

I've been feeling pretty bad about how little I've listened to U2. Usually I listen every day- obsessively so, but as of late, I've been listening to other totally random bands.

Oh well, it's good to take a break. Before I went to the concert, I took 2 whole weeks off from listening to anything by U2. And then, the day of, I just went buck-wild. It was awesome.

I suppose I just listen to what I feel like playing, and I haven't felt the urge to listen to much U2. When I have, it's felt so natural and normal, to the point where listening to other stuff is refreshing, even when I've been spending almost all my time listening to that other stuff.

Plus, I'm kind of disillusioned with some U2 things ... though all will be right if we get either or both of One Tree Hill and Mofo in Auckland. (Not as unrealistic as you may think!)
