He steps into the embrace, slightly awkward and self-conscious that he hasn't showered yet and that his shirt was still smudged with the day's activities. But as his mother's capable hands tighten around him and she says, gladness overflowing in her voice, "Thank you, Kunimitsu", he allows himself to return her hug and murmur that it was no trouble at all..

...there're SO MANY reasons why I love this fic. But that is my absolute FAVOURITE part. Y'know why I love it to utter, complete and total BITS?

He's so... human. He's awkward, rather smelly and he's a 15 year old boy and boys don't do hugs but it's his mom. We don't see this part often but you do it so NATURALLY. And it's UTTERLY believable. AND I'M STILL HAPPY. HAPPY.

This was so cute. I like the way he wants to use the Tezuka zone to find the diamond. He can be such a dork sometimes!

Oh Love!~ This is so uber adorable. Yes. tezzie would think about using the tezzie zone nya? XD thats the obsessed tennis genes in him speaking. XD
