I don't know. I think House is... slightly less stupid than God. If Wilson really put up with House (metaphorically) afflicting him with horrible boils, taking all his earthly possessions, and killing off his livestock and family, I think House would actually lose all respect for Wilson. Nobody should put up with that, and as much as House likes to push people around, he also can't stand pushovers. I don't think he'd want Wilson to cave like Job did.
Maybe - he did tell Jack "Good for you" and with some emphasis at that. But he certainly isn't behavign as though this were the case. He's behaving as though Wilson ought to grin and bear everything and make time to amuse House in the meantime.
I think what he expects is for Wilson to drop him - or even drop kick him. It bemuses him to no end that Wilson is just not cooperating. He's basically like Jack's sister: he's trying to pre-empt being surprised at being abandoned. The girl wanted warning before Jack died; House pushes Wilson away to avoid being pushed away himself. That way it seems like he's the one in control.
I still think House/God and Tritter/Devil playing ping pong with Wilson is pretty apt. Tritter kicks him; House gets him on the rebound.
When reading your God : Job parallel, I did thing vaguely, but wait, it was all triggered by Satan, wasn't it -- and of course, you're right -- Tritter makes the perfect Enemy.

Can totally see this!
Although I do think _grayswandir_ is right, and he doesn't *expect*/desire Wilson to just take it indefinitely.
