Мама с дочкой, москвички, на одесском пляже. Дочка:
- Мама, мама, сма-а-атри - мядуза!
Мама:
- Какая в пязду мядуза? Цла-а-афан...

Although to be fair, neither me nor my mom have that awful meowly drawl.

LOL! Nope, pretty damn funny to someone from Kiev, too! Of course, making fun of the Moscow drawl is (or used to be, anyway) a favored city pastime. Kind of like making fun of the Moscow soccer teams...
