Monday Plot Post!

Mar 01, 2010 19:49

Every other Monday, we'll have this post you can sign your character(s) up for. (You can also sign up a duo or group with other mun permission.) To those volunteering, I’ll toss a random event your way. This is something small to mid-scale for your character to deal with, either in post or log form, with other players or NPCs. You have free range ( Read more... )

Ah, Axiom Nexus. A place like this city, anything possible! Reconnecting with friends long gone missing, finding teammates or comrades-in-arms who'd died alive and well...

And, of course, being found by mechs who don't have any reason to be happy to see you again. And lucky you, Octane, that's happening right now--there's a mech in your face and he wants your spark for something you did to him. Stabbed him in the back, stole from him, left him behind somewhere... Who knows?

You certainly don't.

Because it never happened. Whatever Octane this guy's got a bone to pick with, it's not you, it's an alternate from another universal stream, and he did something you didn't to piss this guy off.

Of course, you don't necessarily know that. And he's mad enough that he might not care even if one or the both of you figure it out...

There are a lot of strange characters in the Nexus--and then there are some...not so strange characters. Teenage boys, for example, who might like to read comics books or watch movies a lot... And though the fanboy is hardly an alien concept to us, well, Pepper might find it a little weird when one of those fanboys recognizes her one day--

And starts following her around, bugging her about Iron Man/Tony. And even though he's earnest and sweet and kind of shy and awkward, he's also persistent. He won't leave her alone.

And the way that he talks about alternate versions of her, and different comics and cartoons and storylines, and things that have never happened to hear is likely going to start getting downright creepy...

Lugnut, please.

(A bite-sized random event would really help me out to get him *actually* in the regular plot.)

The Nexus attracts--and traps--all types. Artists, warriors, philanthropists, scientists--scholars. Including a Cybertronian scholar from one of the Primax universes who finds the variety of Transformers forms in the Nexus absolutely fascinating, and has made it his life's work (or at least, his life's work while stuck here) to catalogue them all.

And you're a body-type he hasn't seen yet, Lugnut.

Oh, he'll be polite, at first, simply asking for permission to take some scans of your build. But should you say no, he'll get more and more obnoxious about it, and he's not above using bribery, manipulation, or even force to get you into his lab for imaging. Whatever it takes. This one, it seems, is really dedicated to his work.
