Soundwave was still struggling to fathom just how Glit had returned to the Nexus.

He had been offline. Soundwave knew he'd been offline. He had destroyed the one responsible for the crime, because he had seen the empty shell of the cassette. Glit's spark had been extinguished, and Soundwave learned what it was to grieve, perhaps not in the healthiest of ways.

And yet, somehow, Glit was here. Alive.

Considering Soundwave's own miraculous return from death, it should not have been all that surprising. The Nexus had a habit of cheating mortality. But it only served to further confuse the already skewed emotive functions that the cassette player already barely coped with.

Quirking his head, he watched the cassette for a moment. He could hear his question, but it wasn't Soundwave's style to simply take that information publically. If Glit wished to know, he could ask - If only to know if his original intention would be voiced, or if he'd back down.

"Designation: Glit."

Glit wouldn't have considered himself an expert on the grieving process; he was still trying to wrap his processor around the idea that he was grieved at all. (Never let it be said that the cassette was entirely emotionally healthy himself.) For Primus's sake, why? It wasn't even though he were Soundwave's own!

It was obvious, though, that Soundwave wasn't going to bring anything up himself. Glit sorted through options - from what he desperately wanted to know to what he needed to know. Which... when he thought of it that way... helped quite a lot. Patient first, after all.

Ravage and Laserbeak were worried. About Soundwave's mental state - and they had reason. Soundwave was the most grounded mech Glit could imagine; he probably had to be. A Soundwave not in control of his emotions was almost unthinkable. "Is there any way I can be useful?"

He was trying to get Soundwave to talk about how he was feeling. Glit felt like the punchline of a bad joke.
