WHO: DW Jetfire, IDW Nemesis Prime
WHAT: Nemesis invited Jetfire to come speak with him. Jetfire accepts.

WHEN: Today (Sunday)!
WARNINGS/NOTES: Nemesis being a creepy mothertrucker. Mentions of zombiefeeding, at least in initial post. Other than that, nothing, really.

He'd never been below Zone 5.
Now, he couldn't even tell that it was still day up above, because everything was dark, and everything was dingy, and everything was quiet. The sounds he did hear were unpleasant ones--shuffling, whimpering, occasional scavengers scampering off into even further darkness, leaving him a very large, bright white shock amongst the gloom.
He didn't like the fact that, even when there was still nobody around, he still stood out.
Things crunched underneath his feet, and he didn't like that, either, so he tried not to look down as he wandered, peering around corners cautiously and not leaving battle-mode for even an instant.
And then, around the next corner, there he was.
He knew it, instantly, because only a Prime could look like that--could have that bulk, that gaze, that intensity setting him ( ... )

Aerial unit. A large one, at that. And seeming so out of place...

There was only silence.
More of it, as if that were possible.
But with nothing else out of the ordinary for this region except the strange mech who was playing with his sensors, he took a few more scans, and then removed his helmet.
"...you shouldn't stay down here. Its dangerous."
Tucking it under his arm, he ventured closer, cautious but curious, unabashedly taking a few more scans--
And pausing, visibly, at the results that were returned.
If he was reading this right, the aberrant energies coming off of Nemesis's spark displayed a significant density of sub-proton nuclear decay...
Normally impossible to see in a healthy spark, or one that was alive.
"And this may be an odd question to ask, but...are you dead?"

He paused at the question. Then inclined his helm slightly, red optics glinting in what could have been part of a smile.
"I have been changed," he explained, taking a single step down. "What I am now, I am certainly not alive, as you know it."
