All of the problem sections he'd worked on already in some capacity or another at least once, but for the course of this little...symposium, he was going to stick to his specialty. This would be why he'd taken one of power converters meant to open the portal proper and the appropriate chunk of the schematics and found himself a seat at one of the tables to figure out why the damn thing had fried.

Not...that she was in any kind of spectacular hurry to get home. She'd grown accustomed to the city, it's inhabitants, and had become quite comfortable and successful in her business endeavors.
Still - she'd promised help, way back in the beginning when she'd met him for the very first time.

And getting home, and back to his rightful place at Vector Prime's side was important. It felt wrong to be here, the bond so dulled and retarded to the point where he wasn't sure of it was there some days. Of course, talking to other minicons had told him that those with partners had experienced the same thing.
Besides, any work made in getting this thing to work was good, and if one cared to listen as he worked, they'd simply hear him muttering away in Minicon, ant notes he made in his native tongue, and almost unreadable. Someone had bad handwriting. The sooner this worked, the sooner they could go home.
