Summary: The roof is on fire. And it's Megatron's fault. The Decepticons suffer the pain of karma, and lose their current home to an electrical fire. : (

Whoever was responsible for this disturbance was going to suffer.
Any Decepticon knew that it was an absolutely horrible idea to interrupt Megatron’s recharge cycle. If they possessed any ounce of self-preservation, the mech would wait until the tyrant had completed his rest period - or perhaps send a less knowledgeable fool in their stead. Nonetheless, Barricade and Blackout most certainly knew better than to impose on his recharge time unless it was of the utmost importance.
So it was with a snarl of annoyance that he stirred, his red optics flashing to life, lashing out claws and catching nothing but air. There was a screech of metal against metal as he pulled himself up from the berth, fangs bared as he prepares to reprimand his incompetent subordinates - to find that he is alone.
Not only that, but...
He very nearly had to roll his optics. Of all the foolishness -
Had he been of the more inferior, organic race, he might have noticed earlier that the air was thick with smoke. Megatron did not know the source of it, but it would seem that there was a fire in the facility. Fantastic.
Treaded feet met the floor with a heavy thunk, as he stood, striding briskly out of the room. Surely those two incompetents must have noticed by now... (Nevermind that he hadn’t...)
