It was just one thing after another in this place. Killer plants, chemical spills, Optimus Prime's evil twin... what with all that and trying to keep down a job, Victor found that free time was scarce, and he usually spent it sleeping.

Victor was glad to have finally found the time to see Jetfire. He liked the mech, and was actually a little excited to talk to him - granted, most of the specifics that Jetfire was likely to ask him about were tied to painful memories, but Victor had poured his heart out to Kino already. He felt confident that the second time around he could avoid the more sensitive details.

Jetfire was easy to spot in the park. "Hey!" Victor greeted him as he approached, waving as he skirted around upturned trashcans and other various litter.

"Greetings, Victor," Jetfire smiled and raised a hand in salutation. He waited for the other to approach him, letting him dictate how close they would be while they had their conversation. He knew that smaller beings, often organics, felt intimidated by his size.

"How are you?" he inquired, content to catch up with Victor before diving into the core of the matter, as it were.

There was no doubt that Jetfire's size was daunting, but being small was a feeling Victor was getting used to. Fortunately, Jetfire hadn't gone far from the pile of old crates, and while they were certainly nowhere close to the mech's height, they were something.

"I'm doing all right. Been busy," Victor replied, hopping up, up, up onto the crates with surprising ease for someone who looked so human. There was an awkward moment where he almost lost his balance, but regained it quickly and clambered onto the top of the pile and took a seat. "You?"

"I've been similarly occupied," he rumbled faintly, noting Victor's almost unbalancing himself. Shifting himself a little closer in case he had to rescue the other, he shrugged.

"It seems that disaster follows at the heels of another disaster. I'm still helping with the repercussions of the chemical spill, even after it's been cleaned up. You weren't affected by the incident, have you?" he inquired with worry, casting a critical optic (and a few scans) on the human perched on top of the crates.
