Growing increasingly annoyed with his lack of progress in the 'finding-Wheeljack-in-a-location-that-Skywarp-can-grab-him-from' department; he actually welcomes the distraction from his search. It will happen, but clearly the Autobot isn't out and about today.

That's fine.

He'll just focus on Shockwave's portion of his master plan.

Shockwave gladly sends the coordinates to his leader.

//I do hope you find it satisfactory.//

If Megatron wanted this project to proceed in a timely manner, he'd have to find this scrap pile acceptable. This had been the only place Shockwave had been able to find the proper materials. Well, the only place where the materials were so plentiful.

He's somewhere in Zone 5 when the coordinates come through and it takes him twelve minutes to get to Shockwave's position in Zone 9. Malcolm lands easily next to the pile that the other has created and eyes it.

"Let's see how much force this can withstand, shall we?" he separates one of the less-sturdy looking pieces and tosses it by itself away from his subordinate. The low whine-hum of his fusion cannon warming up fills the air briefly and he shoots the piece of scrap at full power.

Shockwave watched as his magnificent leader fired at the scrap metal, his spark swelling with pride and admiration. Megatron's fusion cannon was an amazing piece of weaponry. No one, except Megatron, could wield it with such finesse.

As the smoke cleared, Shockwave stayed in his spot and waited for his leader's verdict on the materials' strength.
