Any other week, Starscream would have been right.

The 'free entry' fights were always designed to get new crowds interested in the Arena, bringing in more business and more mechs for Megatron to see. It was a night when there weren't headliners, and any mech who thought well of himself could enter--which usually meant most mechs that'd had too much to drink.

Normally, Starscream would have found himself against someone easy enough and fun enough to make a few credits on the side.

Tonight, though, Megatron was in.

He'd been 'in' for the entire week, keeping himself distracted with fight after fight and just thinking. With the Hollow as empty as it was, he'd had time for that. It felt nice to not be Megatron for a bit, and just go back to being Magnum, owner of the Silver Bullet Arena, some-times champion ( ... )

The Seeker almost took a step back, he did manage to hold his ground though the obvious shocked expression was clearly there.

He had not expected Megatron to be there. He wasn't supposed to be there. Sure, he may have owned the Arena ...

Starscream pulled himself together and his expression shifted to a scowl before fading into a smirk. Even in the face of danger he was first and forth most Starscream.

"Well, you know me. I like to play on that thin line between danger and suicide." He unfolded his arms and let them drop to his sides.

"So what do I owe this honor? Hard to believe you'd take time out of your busy schedule just to play with me. I should almost feel flattered that I'm important enough for you to attempt to fight ( ... )

"You don't play on that line, Starscream..." Megaron grinned, hand rolling back into his wrist and unfurling his electro-mace. "You dance on it." A tiny flick sent the mace spinning, controlled, a purple blur of energy at his command.

"So lets dance."

It struck him as ironic, in a way...remembering how he'd told the Malgian Starscream that he didn't dance, and now suddenly being here, inviting a Primaxian into the complex movements of the ring.

"I know you don't pay enough attention to Megatrons to know, but I do take all comers. Not that I hold any illusions of ever stopping that mouth of yours..."

He smirked, and stepped closer.

"...but maybe I can make you wish you had."

He eyed that purple mace, watching it spin. His own Megatron held that same weapon too, though he was not surprised by this fact. They were very similar weren't they?

Though he did not see much of a connection between his alternate from Magnum's universe and himself, a lot of other things seemed the same.

Megatron was the biggest example of that familiarity he felt. And that sort of made him hate Magnum, not in the same way he disliked the other Megatrons. It was the same kind of hate that drove him -- a deep inner grudge that he couldn't let go of.

He thought of his own Megatron's obsession with killing Prime. Was his obsession with killing Megatron the same?

Staring at Magnum for a few brief moments his mind shifted through many things. Mostly about his own survival. He tried not to think of anything else and forced himself to widen his smirk despite it all -- despite Magnum stepping closer ( ... )
