[Something was wrong.

He wasn't where he was supposed to be, when he was supposed to be there; he could tell even before coming fully online. Despite the fuzzy processor, his internals were blaring all sorts of warnings at him - missing time, registering an unauthorized system shutdown, unknown location, chassis breach...

A breach?

That realization brought him online with a suddenness that set his engine stuttering, only for the pain to hit like a sledgehammer to the chest. ...Which made sense, since it was his abused chest plating that was aching with agonizing familiarity.

The Matrix was gone. Again, a hollow ache left in it's place.

Pried out at Shockwave's hands once more, he recalled with sudden, painful clarity, after another abduction. Of course he couldn't be kept unconscious for that part. Fingers digging into the floor of the cell, Optimus winced as he levered himself up and glanced around. Three others this time-

Oh.

...Oh, great.]

MAY I SUGGEST EVERYONE TRACK THIS POST SO WE DON'T HAVE TO WONDER WHOSE TURN IT IS? derpderp sumptushubris February 11 2011, 08:54:04 UTC
[there's no breach within him. there is, however, something there that wasn't there before, something that the Darkness has latched upon and is worrying away at like a turbohound at a rusting chassis. its intelligence is all but obsessed to the point of not being there at /all/, and for a long few moments after consciousness returns Nemesis is obsessed as well, dragged in to its .

then he realizes that he is not where he was before; indeed, he can't even remember going offline. an experimental tug at the Darkness results in...well, nothing. it's /occupied/, and this really isn't...something Nemesis has dealt with in recent memory.

or in memory at all.

he remains on the floor, still, for all the world still 'out of it'. which he is, in a sense; trying to come to some understanding as to what has /happened/, because to be quite honest...

...he's a little disturbed, right now.]

I second this idea. like_a_bossbot February 11 2011, 09:02:52 UTC
[Optimus wished that waking up in strange places hadn't become a familiar experience for him. At least this time, he wasn't being prodded awake by an insane alternate of himself, bent on killing him...

... Not that it really improved this situation much.

Groaning, he shifted against the hard floor, optics flickering back online.

Dimly, he recalled the apartment. He... had been tidying the last of Sari's abandoned belongings, before... Nothing. There was a noticeable gap between then and now, time that he couldn't account for.

Rubbing a hand over his faceplates, Optimus groggily pulled himself up into a sitting position. This had to be the Transtechs (again), but what did they want with-

Oh.]

O-Optronix?

[Apparently, he wasn't the only one unfortunate enough to receive an invitation - His alternate, one of the Megatrons, and another 'bot he wasn't entirely familiar with, were present as well.

Well, this day just kept getting better and better.]

[Sound drags his sensors online, everything else responding sluggishly and-- the realization that there shouldn't be any voices in his quarters, where he should be waking up, hits him.

He forces his optics online, staring uncomprehendingly for a moment; his memory is hazy, failing to tell him both where he is and what he's doing here.

...and with the Primes no less.

The room they're in is wholly unfamiliar and he grasps for some indication of what he'd been doing before, getting only brief flickers of his throne room.

A low growl escapes him as he pushes himself upright, limbs cooperating enough to instead lean against one wall while he waits for his systems to settle.

His voice when he manages to speak is rougher than usual.]

What have you done, Prime?

[He, of course, is addressing Optronix thoroughly disinterested in the half Prime.]
