Wonderful. He resisted the urge to make a smart remark in response, and it took almost all of his restraint. He did sigh, however, after he was off the line.

What did Megatron need him for now? It better not be something stupid. He thought they were going to wait for Magnus to make his move before they did anything now.

He grumbled to himself to himself and was still grumbling when he entered the room Megatron called him to.

"You know some leaders give their soldiers some down time after a mission. Just saying."

"And some soldiers don't keep things from their leaders," Malcolm scowls at Starscream as the Seeker grumbled. He could summon who he wanted, when he wanted, regardless of what they believed they deserved; he was Megatron.

He drums his fingers on the arm of his throne, giving the Seeker no explanation or other information and he waits to see if Starscream comes up with something of his own accord.

The Seeker visibly tensed for a fraction of a second -- his mind racing trying to determine exactly what Megatron knew. But it all shortly faded away and he shifted to his usual smug demeanor.

"I'll besure to pass along any plans for treason to your secretary next time. Oh wait, would the creepy Soundwave count as that?" He shrugged like it was nothing at all.

"Really. Paranoia is unfitting for you. I have no plots or reason to try and kill you at this point in time. I have nothing to gain. But it's nice to know that I'm actually considered a threat." It was entirely possible that he was oblivious or simply trying to shift to conversation in another direction.

"Starscreams are notorious for their treachery and my own seems to be one of the worst," his optics flash; his paranoia is well-founded and he won't be told otherwise. Malcolm is observant and he already knows Starscream is hiding something; the Seeker's attempts to steer the conversation weren't going to work.

"I am speaking Starscream of your associations with Jetfire," he scowls; he doesn't actually know that much about the mech, only that he's an Autobot and that the only association a Decepticon should have with one is an attempt to offline them.
