He landed in front of Soundwave's tower--he really needed to get his own base already--and started upwards into the portion he had claimed as his own. He was hardly aware of his surroundings and deep in thought as he crossed the door into his command center.

Malcolm scowled as he found Stascream draped over his makeshift throne and promptly growled in warning. Why did every Starscream insist on challenging his authority?

"Get. Up. Now."

Oh right. Megatron. Starscream snapped out of his slight daze.

The anger towards his actions never failed to amuse him despite the usual punishment that followed. And the Air Commander may have smirked as he sort of slid out if the throne. He made no other action other than to stand over to the side and gold his arms across his chest.

Usually a smart remark would follow this whole ordeal, but somehow the silence just worked so much better.

Malcolm wondered if it occurred to Starscream that he had better things to do than waste time berating him. Probably not, though it was possible his foolish Second did it on purpose which was just aggravating.

His expression darkened as he stalked to his throne and sat on it, though he spared a sharp displeased look towards Starscream. He had bigger things to worry about than the Seeker... like Magnus' head.

He had acted rashly in challenging his duplicate and had paid the price. Perhaps he could get Magnus to do the same he would slip up and Malcolm would have an advantage. The only question was how.

"We must get Magnus to act carelessly."

Generally speaking 90% of what Starscream did on a daily basis was, in fact, on purpose. The remaining 10% were actions purely made on impulse.

He returned Malcolm's look, but his expression was rather ... neutral. Though he did unfold his arms and broke his gaze away after awhile.

/You would need to make him angry. Something like poking a stick into a beehive and causing them to attack only you just have a single insect to worry about and not an entire army. /

He really needed to get his actual vocals fixed so that he could speak normally instead of using the internal communicator all the blasted time. But in any case he started pacing back and forth in front of the throne, before just suddenly stopping.

/Do you know what happens when a bee attacks another life form? They die. Their bodies are almost completely ripped in half. /

He gestured with his hands as he communicated as if to back up his statement.

/What would be the one thing that would cause him to lash out without any regard for himself? Figure that out and you ( ... )
