WHO: IDW Soundwave sound_loyal and SG Soundwave inferiordude WHAT: The Soundwaves have a talk. WHERE: Zone 4 WHEN: Just after this. WARNINGS/NOTES: Not off the top of my head.
This is going to be... awkward. And honestly, if the other Soundwave tries to shoot him, he isn't going to blame him. Things went south, and frag, he knows he blames himself.
Stuff wasn't supposed to turn out this way. He's going to do what he can in order to fix it.
He arrives, transforming into his robot mode. Without a word, he checks to make sure their immediate area is scrambled. No doubt the other communications officer has checked.
"Hey," he emits in a low tone. "...How you hangin' in there, dude?"
Soundwave glowered at the other, his expression indecipherable as ever. The slight flash of his visor was the only indication of his mood, and even then, it was hard to noticed if one wasn't looking for it.
"Irrelevant," he replied sharply, turning to face the other more fully.
Any other time, he might have masked his frustration behind the short and efficient sentence structure and forced monotone. Looking back, his speech had actually become even more computer-like in the time since Shockwave's experiment, in an effort to compensate for the (not always) subtle emotional indicators in his speech.
But right now? When most in the Nexus were already aware of his malfunction? There were more important matters.
No point in nagging. He can't imagine what it's like to be without emotions, then suddenly slammed with him. Soundwave himself has always been emotional; frag, more than others.
He nods. "I can give it to ya. It's... a memory file. What Nemesis did t'Magnum. I dunno if it's ya can reverse it, but it's a firsthand experience. Might be useful for you."
He rubs the back of his helm. "That, an' I figured we ought figure out how t'fix this."
Ignoring the first part - There was little point in refuting it - and immediately felt another cold rush of hatred through his systems. He had witnessed the incident? It would explain why Magnum would have been unable to contact him, perhaps even his own failings... Much the way the Tyran Soundwave had dampened his communications when the inverse Prime had destroyed him.
"Explain why you would have firsthand memories of this incident."
There was an underlying threat in his tone, though his weapon wasn't drawn. Using a gun would be too simple a punishment, and he still required the information that he possessed.
"I will take what you offer, questionable as it is."

"You claimed to have data. What is it?"
