Once he had, more or less, sobered up, Soundwave made his way over to the clinic. Not his favorite place to be. Any medical center leaves a bad sensation in him.

Still, he'll keep his anger and feelings down as much as he can. This is, after all, for Jetstorm. Soundwave will do what it takes to make the procedure go over well.

He at least owes the twins that much.

Ratchet collected the tools he had on hand that he knew he would need - it was still odd, to be considering operating without the assistance of his medbay, but he'd done so before and he would do so again, undoubtedly. It was never a good idea to be reliant entirely on tools that could be damaged or destroyed...
And he still only had one working arm anyway.

Arriving early at the clinic, he nods a greeting to Soundwave - but doesn't say anything else, not right away. He knows the mech wants nothing to do with him and doesn't blame the Decepticon at all. The least he can do is not make this more uncomfortable.

Instead, he looks over to Virgil's preparations and nods in quiet satisfaction. "This looks perfect, Virgil. I couldn't have asked for better, thank you."

Vergil drops down from where he'd been inspecting one of the lighting fixtures and offers a whistle of greeting to both the newly arrived mechs. Ratchet knew him, of course, but Soundwave's communications with him had all taken place over the network. Whether Soundwave knew to expect a creature not much larger than a human he didn't know.

Still, he waves one tentacle and then produces his communicator.

You're quite welcome. Soundwave, hello. Please let me know if there are any steps I can take to make communication simpler. Sending text directly is probably the easiest option for now.

Jetstorm felt odd being back in this clinic. It was where he had lived for many Decacycles with Ratchet--who had been deported, Ironhide--who was dead, and Jetfire--who was...

Well.

His brother was coming, now, but he still felt oddly divided. Half of a whole instead of half of a whole, like being half-empty instead of half-complete.

He stuck close to Ratchet on the way...all the way up until he saw Soundwave, and flitted over to the blue and white mech, resting on his shoulder and just putting a hand to his faceplate almost affectionately.

Too much had gone on.

Too much was impacting them all.

He missed Jetfire.

"...is...going to be fine, yes? This operation is being something easy to do?"

Making his way to Virgil, Ratchet hands the Huragok the data chip from the berth and offers a weak smile in turn. "I hope that, and the visual, was enough to follow - but if you wanted to go over any of the process or specifics I'm more than happy to."

He wanted to make sure there were others able to do this, just in case it happened again...

"And thank you, again, for allowing us to use your clinic. This made the transition much smoother."

Vergil's tentacle curls around the data chip, and the Huragok twitters. it was easily followed, but I am grateful to have this to review, he answers. if we are very lucky I will never have to do it, but if we are not that lucky, I am glad to know how.

You look as if you could do with some down time. There is room, if you need...

Ratchet is happy that the Huragok followed along so well, and nods in confirmation before he realizes what's being said - and jerks up in surprise, optics flashing around the clinic for a moment before settling on Virgil again. He hadn't expected the offer...

"I don't want to trouble you further, you've been an enormous help as it is..." And exhausted as he was, he didn't want to have to need the other's help...
