I just spent the last 23.5 Earth hours filling out questionnaires, had a tag bolted on me, and been booted to 'Zone 3', whatever that is.

I just have one question: what the frag is going on!?

Actually, I have one other question: anybody got a place I can recharge? I need to defrag after that nightmare.

[It's blunt, but that's just how the big guy rolls. Bumblebee can handle it, he's a good soldier. Especially since... well. He's talking to Optimus now.]

We brought him to Egypt. The boy thought there was something he could do for him, there... Sam was shot. He went down for a while, and then... just got back up. Optimus did too, after that.

[Ironhide honestly isn't sure what exactly happened during the battle. He knows he was covering the boy, looking for him. And then Optimus woke up -- shortly after, everything went to hell again, and no one bothered trying to explain things.]

[Bumblebee can handle it. But you still are getting a shocked silence for a bit. What can he say? Optimus is alive - lived, after dying, somehow. But Bumblebee is sick with horror that it happened at all. Amazed that Sam will be the one to save him - and somehow survive as well!]

I wish I knew what to say to that. I'm relieved it ends well, somehow.

Sam is a true friend to us, isn't he? I'm looking forward to getting to know him.

And the Allspark? Is it lost to us?

The boy... hmn. He tries hard.

[Even though it was ultimately Sam's fault Optimus died -- at least, in Ironhide's mind. He wisely keeps that tidbit to himself, though.]

It... yeah. We lost it in battle. The boy used it to put Megatron down, before Egypt happened.
