II. [Voice/Video] Contemplation

[the voice doesn't start immediately. for a few seconds, there's the sound of systems cycling, vents intaking. then, finally, the voice of Nemesis Prime...in a thoughtful tone.]

I spoke with a mech who had been here for fifty Vorns.

He said he hadn't been to the upper levels for forty.

Not for lack of wanting, but...

[Nemesis pauses here,

[There's a long pause, and Barricade's tone is serious when he finally says something.]

If they do know... I very much doubt that they care. We're... hrng. Inferiors encroaching on their space, regardless of the fact that we didn't intend to.

[A simple request... with a complicated answer. He exvents noticably, gathering his thoughts.]

Not much I could say on the matter, really, but I can give you the short version. Optimus and Megatron had co-leadership, in the Science division and Defense Forces respectively. Megatron figured Optimus as duplicitous and the Defense Forces became 'Cons, generally. Optimus started goin' by Prime and led his Autobots against us. And then he launched the AllSpark, heart of Cybertron and creator of our kind, into space, and thus killed Cybertron.

Anything before those times... all I'd heard were rumors.
