Likely they are one of our... zookeepers, which would make them difficult for us to touch. [If his paranoia is correct, anyway.] Unfortunately. I am not in the habit of enraging those with control over my freedom. [He totally doesn't sound utterly disgusted at the last bit. Except that he does.]

[He chuckles, in a lighthearted way.] No, I certainly won't. I run a demilitarized medbay. The only person allowed to brandish weaponry is me.

I have some confirmation from others that - if this is the work of TransTechs or the like - they're an independent working alone. Their superiors would be unaware - and if we have an option to them aware... well, it might allow for change. Still, we would need unquestionable proof.
