I finally got myself moved out of the old flat. Pretty much all of my stuff is now at my new flat, and I think I need to start getting rid of some of it. I have too much random junk and old gear that needs to be re-homed. For example, I have maybe twenty metres of 50 ohm co-axial cable which I haven't used in more than five years ( Read more... )

Have asked $littlebrother (he of the shed full of old computers and stereo gear) if he needs any more coax.

Got an answer from him as well.

"50 ohm coax, (company) might be interested if it's old Ethernet stuff. They use it for radio mic systems.

Other gear - what has he got? I'm only really after a BBC and an RGB
monitor of some description - CGA or EGA would be good, they should work
with the RGB card I have for one of my Apple IIe's."

I take it you still have my email address, I can put you in touch with him if there's anything that interests him (and if the two of you don't mind if it sits around in Dunedin until the next time I'm up there).
