This really only applies well to those of us in the Southeast. Anyway, whenever local weather anchors howl and rave about the potential of a snow event around here you can expect the grocery stores to be devoid of eggs, bread, and milk in an alarmingly short amount of time. Geez. Up here there'd be a non-stop "French-Toast-Alert" (or is that "...warning"?) from the forecasters.
