I was watching In the Bedroom with Laura Berman (yes, I'm watching the Oprah Winfrey Network, don't hate)  and she was blathering on about how the guy was abused verbally by his father growing up and now he's verbally abusing his wife, yada yada yada, and I'm thinking, "Laura - you've missed the point!"

lived that excuse hate that excuse!!! my dad was abusive because his dad was... I got therapy so that one day I could have a GREAT relationship with a man, AND a child! It does not stop me from having moments when I feal like flying off the handle but you know what... I don't fly off the handle. I let my past run my present...positively:)

And I think that station is fine... some of the shows are annoying but it also has some great empowerment stuff that is positive and not femenazi... sorry to the feminists,no offence to you, I believe in empowerment but I do not feel empowered when angry... see above:)
