Just leaving a tampon in won't give you toxic shock -- don't worry. You'd know if you had it -- you get a very high fever (over 103), sick to your stomach, muscle aches or cramping, etc, and it comes on *very* fast. (There was some concern that I had this once, which is how I learned all of this.) So if you feel okay, don't worry!
