We're still in shock here. And the number of deaths has just been raised to 17, including three school teachers.

Wow, so close to you and so many people you know. It's just... sad and scary and tragic and there really is not one word to truly describe how awful these events are.

Yeah, there are no words for things like these. I don't understand how people can go crazy like that. And the number of victims is still rising. One more student died in the hospital just a few minutes ago!
These times are really scary.

I just saw a brief notice on the news here.
I don't really know what to say. At the moment it still feels very surreal.
Why are people getting crazier and crazier these days?

Everyone has a gun these days, not just us anymore, and everyone thinks that the solution is just to shoot and shoot and shoot. How horrible for your family, your area, your country.

I wish I knew what the answer was, I really do.

The news coverage is all over the net/TV/radio overhere right now. Every few minutes there's another horrible update. Just a few minutes ago one more student died in the hospital. The aunt of my co-worker is working at this hospital and they are still fighting for some other kids.

The father of the boy who shot down all these people has 16 guns at home! Legally. Apparently one of them was the weapon involved.

you and me both whish to have the answer.

*hugs you back*

Apparently the father of the guy who shot has 16 guns at home. 16! And legally! And apparently the guy was on his way to another school when he got stopped. The school my cousin's son goes to!
I still don't know what to say. People are so crazy these days, and not the good kind of crazy.

so VERY scary!
and the number of deaths is still rising. My co-worker just told me she talked with her mom on the phone (who lives in the town where it happened) and her sister who works in the hospital there told her that there are still lots of severely injured students who might not make it.
