Do you make your own curly brushes from scratch? I've always wanted to try, but can never figure out how - especially to get the edges nice and clean.

I'm a cheese lover myself (veggie that I am *bwaha*)

not all of them...
the curly ones you have to make in a vector program like Illustrator, or using PS's pentool at least to get the edges nice and clean...

but most of the time for these decorative brushes I use things made from scratch with things from old scans (especially old paintings) and dingbat fonts in a combination.

(also the grungier the less you have to take care of the smooth edges *g*)
