YAY! I've picked up my dad from the hospital today :)
he's doing fine! (wait, I haven't told you the reason why I was down, have I? uhm, he suffered from a sudden amnesia a few days ago, and it was scary. so. damn. scary.)
but it was neither a cerebral apoplexy nor a haemorrhage, but a Transient Global Amnesia of which I have never heard of before ( Read more... )

Geez, B. You love droppin' bombs, huh? What with your Dad being sick and then A telling T everything?!?!

First off, I'm glad your Dad is ok, I'm sorry I didn't get to pray for him or send him good thoughts. I will now, though, retroactive as they may be.

Second ... uh ... wow? O_o I hope it all works out with the Big Confession.

we're all pretty much doing the happy dance since they've told us the final diagnosis. and that he was allowed to go home today filled us all with joy :D
the good thoughts are appreciated nontheless *hugs you tight*
he has to stay at home for the next weeks for recovery so they are not too late...

yeah, I'm curious how that will go. she was very surprised that three friends of her who know EVERYTHING were shocked she wants to tell him... heee. sometimes I'm really wondering what she's thinking...

Oh dear! I'm glad to hear your dad turned out ok though. It's so hard when parents are ill or suffering in anyway. Good thoughts for his continued recovery.

the worst thing about it was that he was so deranged. he kept asking the same questions over and over again. (what happened? why am I in a hospital? why do I have on these trousers? did I have an accident?) and when we answered him he started to ask again. we were scared shitless.

well im glad your dad is doing better.. that must have been terribly frightening. && oh dear A is telling T everything. esh.

do you think perhaps that might inspire T to tell her everything.

thanks! it definitely was so scary! but we're all glad he's doing better now :)

nah, I don't think he will tell her... I've already panicked because of this a while back, and came to the conclusion that this will happen in no way *lives happily in denial*

now that's a scary thought! :P I'm glad he;s okay now though...I'd be mess if that happened to my dad.

heee, it really is, especially involving my dad...
who had exactly three times sex in his entire life. coincidentally my mom got pregnant every time ;P
(denial is so beautiful)

it was really scary, he couldn't even remember the year! he thought it was 2007!

I'll make sure to make a soap opera post soon... ;) flocked, so I can spill out the details. heee.
