Wow, I've been thinking of playing FFX too, but then I couldn't find the cd in our house so the plan quickly died. Hehehe. As for FFVI, I remember buying a CD of the game which was converted to PlayStation format.. Baka nawala na rin un.. =(

i strongly recommend you pick up Shadow of the Colossus if you want VAST environments, LARGE enemies and TONS of eye candy. plus, story made me cry. mind you, i'm about as sensitive as cow getting milked, so if an ending made me cry, then i'll bet it's worth something.

okay, maybe i'm exaggerating with the crying part.

Shadow Of The Colossus++++++++

I mean the demo I played was pretty awesome so I can only imagine...is there any semblance of a plot?

uh... not at the start. you'll go through it going "wtf am i doing this for again?", but everything will be made clear by the end.

if you read up on the Gamefaqs boards, they've got all sorts of theories on the story. the game is more graphically driven than it is emotional, but the fights get INTENSE, man. well, some of them.

duly noted. next time i come by some money, i'll see if i can pick it up. or maybe i'll put it on my christmas wish list. haha. :)

i don't want to put our cube through conversion. it's already second hand (and "well loved" from the looks of it), it might not be able to stand it!

Hmmm... I take it he wants the nostalgia of playing on the SNES itself?

Otherwise, he could probably find an emulator, or maybe wait for the GBA remake.

yup, that's it. i think he's tired of emulators, and he sold his GBA a while back. ahehe.

That would be a problem. It might cost him more to get old cartridges/clean them so they can be usable than to get a GBA again.

I dunno... just a thought.
