I just wanted to let you know that a minute ago, I heard on the radio that gay marriage got legalized in France!
Hooray! :D
Come on now, Germany - you can do that, too!

Hooray for France. I agree, Come on Germany! You can do it! I have a few states here in America that are still holding off on legalizing gay marriages too. Mostly the stuck up south. But it's only a matter of time. I think my state is one of them too. But that's okay. I'll fly a rainbow flag proudly anyway.

I agree, it's probably only a matter of time over there in America - you have the luck that at least Obama is supporting gay marriage. :)
But here, it's a quite conservative party that has most of the power - luckily, they started to change their opinion recently and began to believe that maybe equality isn't such a bad idea after all. But it's such a slow process! :/
Well, I hope it's only a matter of time here as well. :D
