My first ear piercings, when I was 17, hurtb so much I felt like my ears would drop off if I moved my head too much. The second set, done some 17 years later, didn't hurt anywhere near as much. i stopped at two in each ear though, that was enough for what I wanted.
I think I'll stop at 2 piercings as well, or maybe I'll get a third pair one day. Then again, maybe not, because my earlobes are very tiny and would probably look overloaded with too many piercings! xD
Piercings do hurt, and if they hurt this much in our earlobes where there there's just a normal amount of nerve endings, imagine how much they might hurt when people get... 'other' places pierced. I still remember that scene from Pulp Fiction where Rosanna Arquette's character talks about her multiple piercings. Ow, ow.
