I saw that pudding recipe and was tempted -- will have to try it! Can you share your basic bread pudding recipe? We brought back from pumpernickel from Rockland Bakery this weekend, and I was thinking some of that might make a great savory bread pudding. Also, that pretzel recipe may be dangerous. I love soft pretzels. And that way I could make mine with lots of salt, and Aaron's with none.
I've made that pretzel recipe twice now, and I love it. I suggest getting a silicone baking mat -- I've got two, one that fits on my baking sheet, and one BIG ole' sheet that sits on the counter, and upon which I roll out dough. Nothing sticks to it. The downside, for cookies at least, is that it inhibits browning on the bottom, but that's not a problem for pretzels, which seem to brown up just fine the way they're supposed to.
The pretzels don't stick to either sheet in the least, either in the dough-rolling-out-stage on the counter, or in the baking-in-the-oven stage.
