I finally had a chance to get to this! And I'm conflicted -- I'm excited to see the new chapters come up, but then not so much when it means one more chapter closer to the end. ;)

I have a feeling things are not going to go as smoothly as Natasha has planned. I love this insight into what she's feeling: Guilt, a feeling she was unaccustomed to noticing, flared. She still had the phone from Amsterdam, she could call him and talk to him at least, and with an almost overwhelming rush she realized she wanted nothing more than to hear his voice. The need to be on her own, to be separate from him had vanished in the wake of Gorgovich's plan and the thought of not seeing him again. That scared her on another level entirely.

And I love how ... solidly Clint seems to be taking things, trying to understand why she had to leave. Although I think he's not going to react too well when gets back and gets her message.

(Again, god I'm sorry about how long it's taken me to reply to this) - if it makes you feel any better, I already have the first bit of a Tony/Pepper story and a Steve/Bucky story (sort of) in this same universe... with thoughts about others and how they'll all interact further down the line. I don't think that I'm going to do anymore of them as WIPs though - it's too stressful! :)

Speaking of which, I promise I haven't given up on this series! I haven't had the time or energy to write much lately, but I have no intention of abandoning it completely.

When are you coming out with the next chapter????? I'm DYING to find out what happens next!!!!! I MUST KNOW!!! LOL I probably sound like a maniac but who cares right???? I love the books!! (just btw's) you could probably sell them as a short story for like action/romance obsessed teens! ( Like me, LOL) -Hoping for a new chapter (desperately), Poppy

Thank you so much! I really am still working on this series, there has just been quite a lot of life in the way the last few months. I can't promise a timeframe (life is still happening) but hopefully soon I'll have more!
