I'm trying be cool about this and leave you an intelligent, coherent, and interesting comment but to be honest soulbonding is my absolute favorite trope in the world (as you could see from the prompt haha) and this is shaping up to hit all of my kinks/favorite parts of the trope and I am dying over the fact that this is so good already and also a wip. I can't. I am already so in love. I feel like I'm bonded to the fic or something. /flailing and shrieking

Normally I can read anything and everything with a straight face, no outward reaction.

I honest to heaven gasped at that last line.

This... this... I love everything about this, from how you describe him experiencing the soulmate bond without understanding it, to Phil - oh, Phil, to the plot twist... I don't think I've ever waited for another chapter with so much anticipation right off the bat.
