Gorgeous. Of course Hikaru would start with Darwin! I think it would ease both their minds if they got engaged, at least. As he says here, they could have a very long engagement if the age thing is the really big issue. It's certainly worth a talk, so they'll be clear they're both on the same page about marriage- as I'm pretty sure they've not actually spelled their wishes and concerns out to each other. Pavel might like the security of an engagement, despite his age. He's always been older than his chronological age, anyway! I liked Riley's banter with Hikaru, and his observation that they were so in-synch that they're practically telepathic.

REQUIEM FOR A TOASTER = BSG CROSSOVER WIN

I laughed so hard. In the lobby of the hotel. And got strange looks. Also, Sulu's methodical analysis of the pros/cons/situation in general is wonderful and endearing.
