Uh...from where you are, I guess you could say that. They're both in Europe :-)

Most of the Garmin GPS units also have different "voices" you can choose from altho their British voice is female.

Yeah, I know it's about 1,000 miles from Helsinki to Amsterdam, but that was mostly for the navigation and "Tom of Finland" joke anyway. The voice I was using before I finally managed to download Mr. Cleese was one of TomTom's British female voices ("Jane".) Honestly she sounds a lot like Majel Barrett with a british accent to me! (And I really didn't like any of the American selections, although the Irish ones were interesting.)

I'm surprised.... nay shocked... shocked I am. You, with the nifty equipment (don't go there.... oh well, too late) list a zip code as your "location" instead of GPS coordinates.

Shocked.

Perhaps you want to give your enemies a bit of a challenge in finding you, instead of giving them the exact spot to aim the mind control lasers, huh?

I have my longitude and latitude down to within 3' from two different GPS receivers and Google Earth. I'm really not that hard to find, but the zip code fits into that little box on LJ so much better. Anyway, the mind control coming into our house is now digital since we got rid of the satellite version ...

Probably next weekend, yes. If they're like the ones we got (and I strongly suspect they are for some odd reason) then the material is a little thin, but they're still warm and comfortable. For the price I'm really not going to complain!

So, no pointy aluminum hats now?

Oh goodness no! The aluminum hats really only serve to improve the reception of the mind control focus anyway, although I probably shouldn't talk about that too much. What people really need to wear if they want to block the signals are pants made fro

You know, there's a certain company you might be familiar with that sells GPS units. Although, I don't think we sell any with a Dalek voice saying "Recalculate! Navigate! EXTERMINATE!!!"
