 I can't count the number of times I've heard the phrase "never give up on your dreams" or something like that....you know, "keep holding onto and working toward making the dreams reality" recently. It's not that I don't agree, it's that I think it leaves out the possibility that one has no idea what their dream is and so can't go and follow it.
