Paper trail #1

The paper trail for the missing sum in TOC96780 accounts is proving interesting. The money seems to have passed through the hands of a antique dealer in Kyuushu that deals in rare china. Mizuki-kun, perhaps you would do me the honour of looking at their business site? I believe this is a company that your family might well have come across. The ( Read more... )

What did you do to my butler?

Absolutely nothing. The boy took it upon himself to spew French insults in my direction for quite some hours.

I did not actually issue a complain, Zaizen, since you hardly have the ability to affect anything. If your literacy skills are up to it, you will see from the post that you asked. I was good enough to tell you.

Just because something does not fall into your lap, boy, it does not mean the battle is lost. I have followed the trail down one step. I will follow it down more.

Good luck with that. Considering it's you, you'll need it.

I don't use luck, boy. I assure you, it is unnecessary.

My utmost apologies, Atobe-kun, we deal in the design and manufacturing of china, for the most part, rather than the distribution, and I doubt anything of my family's would be considered an antique quite yet.

However, that is quite an interesting story you have there. My best wishes as to finding the money~ ♥

A pity. Though not as much as one as the designs you undoubtedly inflict on the world. On the subject of stories ... how is your butler these days?

Though that is a lovely tea set on their website... perhaps I'll have a look into it.

Yuuta-kun is doing lovely, thank you. He's working hard and improving quite a bit~ ♥ I'm sure you're familiar with the merits of positive reinforcement~

.... lovely.

I am glad to hear that. Did you, per chance, ever ask him more about this background?

Since Mizuki is of little help, unsurprisingly, would you like me to contact my firm's antiquities dealer and see if they know of anything?

I would appreciate that, Tezuka. My suspicion is the money did not stay long with this company; it is small and insignificant with no connection to firms in Tokyo. However, it must have gone somewhere from here.

That is a god awful tea set. Why do people buy such atrocities? I've set my that still sounds weird dealer on it. Can you wait a few days?

By the way, you lost. To the elder Echizen. How?

Mizuki appears to be considering putting in an offer. Yes, I can. Thank you, Tezuka.

Your own game was extremely close, was it not? The boy is not without talent.

It wasn't necessarily a complaint, Syuusuke. Will you join me for dinner on Sunday?

Perhaps.

Then I remain hopeful of seeing you.

If there any chance you could inform Kikumaru-kun that you no longer need his enthusiastic protection? I cannot imagine he truly revels in being so obnoxious.
