Science!

Lovely as always. I smiled at so many little details and exchanges I can't even remember them all.

Science!

I feel like if Sherlock had a child he raised himself, that would be their first word.

Lovely as always. I smiled at so many little details and exchanges I can't even remember them all.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for commenting!

Such a nice mix of funny and a bit melancholy.

I really liked the dynamic between John and Harry. It's obvious that John loves her even as he's resentful about what she's done over the years. And I like that Harry is trying but obviously everything feels incredibly fragile. Also liked Sherlock mentioning he'd been in a similar place once with his family.

“Butterflies don't spin cocoons, they are a result of a cocoon,” Sherlock said. “Don't you teach children? You should know that.”

“If she were a superhero, she could have powers beyond the normal boundaries of a butterfly's abilities,” Alec said. Sherlock looked sceptical. “All right, flies around and cures cancer.”

Hahaha! Sherlock will not accept inaccurate superheroes!

I also loved Lestrade telling Alec that Sherlock should have his name in about 14 years.

Great story!

I had, at one point, an idea of Sarah overhearing the tail end of a conversation between Sherlock and Harry, with Sherlock mentioning that John was very forgiving, and that it didn't matter if she felt she deserved to be forgiven, he'd do it anyway. But I couldn't get them alone. And that might have been a bit too much melancholy for the funny. :-)

I have to decide which Holmes parents exist in this verse. I think I've mentioned my OC ones, but now I sort of want to see the Holmes parents and Abby interacting. Mrs Holmes teaching her complex maths, while Mr Holmes pats her on the head and gives her sweets.

Hahaha! Sherlock will not accept inaccurate superheroes!

I seriously love the dynamic between Alec and Sherlock, because Alec is trying so hard, like trying to connect with a student he doesn't quite understand, and Sherlock is Sherlock. The 'stupidly nice' vs the 'complete arse' makes me laugh.

Great story!Thank you, my lovely! I'm glad you ( ... )

Whoaaa, is “hundreds and thousands” what they call sprinkles in Britain?!?! Awesome!

“John is my friend,” Sherlock said, sounding a little put out. “I can help him. Mycroft doesn't need to be involved.”

Awwww, so jealous and possessive with his sibling rivalry.

“She's finally reached your level of maturity. You have an ally.” This is wonderful. No wonder Abby and Sherlock get on ( ... )

Yep! Specifically the round, rainbow ones. Because they are 'uncountable', Wiki informed me, when Iooked it up to verify I was using it properly while writing the story.

Yay, Harry! You’re sooooo great with ensemble casts. I like how this story explores some of Sherlock and Harry’s similarities. Who better to understand each other as addicts attempting to recover and forcing themselves to be social?

Thank you! I have a weakness for small, but canon characters, who I can manipulate for my own purposes (muahahaha!) I actually wished that I had a different POV for this story in a few places, as I would have liked to explore Harry and Sherlock's interactions a bit more. Maybe in the future.

His present might not be the most expensive or biggest, but it shows how much he knows and loves her and wants her to have something she likes and will enjoy-and he will help her use it!Hee! I like to think that he frustrated some poor shop assistant being very ( ... )
