This fic is darling. I love how John and Sherlock dealt with being injured and how differently Lestrade dealt with them.

Hooray, a Sherlock fic from you! And a Lestrade POV no less!

I loved Lestrade's calm yet obvious worry over both John and Sherlock. The latter two were also in perfect character in terms of how they dealt with their injuries.

John had taken a 6’5” constable clean off his feet when they found him and was about to clonk him with a piece of concrete when Lestrade managed to call him off...he assured Lestrade that it wasn’t his ‘scalpel hand’. As though that was what Lestrade was worried about.

This entire paragraph (which I edited for space's sake) made me grin because it's just so John.

Thank you! I wasn't sure if I had the voices right yet, but Lestrade was the easiest to write for me, so I started with him. I have no John narration voice, I'm still working on that. I've actually discovered that it's easier for me to write from Sherlock's POV, which makes me question my brain. But I'm glad to know that you think they seem like themselves. ^_^

Lovely. I adore that John is 'misbehaving' until Sherlock tells him he's ridiculous. Aw. And Lestrade. Double Aw.

Thank you! I didn't think Sherlock would have any patience for John's PTSD, so it seemed like a Sherlock-y thing to just yell at him until he's better. :D Thanks so much for reading an commenting!

And another great story. I can totally imagine Lestrade waiting for news on Sherlock and John. I really like how you portraied Lestrade. :)
