Miss, who did you vote for?

I have heard this over and over today.  My answer to them all was "the man I want to be president."  Why is it that kids (and adults) aren't taught that who a person chooses to vote for is a private matter?  I know that some people like to announce who they love and who they hate for candidates, but that isn't me.  I am proud to live in a country ( Read more... )

LOL Yeah, my mom is the same way. I don't care, I voted for Obama. I am a democrat BUT I am liberal and don't vote my party. In fact, I didn't vote all democrat at the polls. I always wait and pay close attention to the debates, I never listen to the dumb commercials and the bashing, and once again, I voted for the person who I think is going to do the most for the people. Do I have friends that voted McCain, sure. Do I care, no. That is the beautiful thing about being in this wonderful country, we are all entitled to have our own opinions and act upon them. I also don't care what anyone thinks of me or my choices. And I agree, it is more important that you voted... not so much about who you voted for. My thoughts are... you don't vote, you have no right to complain then. lol
