I'm a journalism major, so I'm constantly sending in stuff to be published. I have yet to be published at the university I'm in currently, but I've had stuff published in smaller newspapers and magazines. \o/

Yup, articles count. :D That's cool that you got to see your work in print. What kinds of stuff do you write about?

Well, that's kind of the neat thing about journalism. As long as it's interesting and relevant to the public, you can write just about anything. 8D I don't really write hard news, though. It's not as entertaining, and I'm not exactly doing this for a living yet.

I tend to write feature articles, usually about people doing neat/weird/crazy stuff within the community. The last one I submitted was about a sorority throwing a fundraiser party for a 10-year-old girl with a brain tumor.
