The movie that was made for TV - The Triangle Factory Fire Scandal - was darn good. It was made before extreme re-writing of history became mandatory to sell a film. They did sensationalize some of the story to set the scene (so to speak), but most of it, from what was said in critiques, was accurate. Worth renting to watch.

I recall seeing that movie. I believe that the sensationalization was to attempt to make the viewer feel that they were trapped with the characters. Having read the testimony of the fire marshal and the fire chief, the whole event becomes a testimonial to what greed can do. That the factory owners would prefer to take chances, gambling their investments and employees lives for the gain of a few dollars profit. Sickening.
