10th Wheel of Fate [Action/Accidental Voice]

[Since that... costume incident at the bar a week ago, ν-13 has been staying away from the village again, mainly venturing throughout the forest. Today, however, one can find her in the mountains, near the river. Considering the weather's been decent lately, she might as well use the opportunity to train a bit, right? And that's exactly what she's ( Read more... )

Nice headgear. You might start a new fashion with that.

[And since his last foray of bloodshed and chaos, Yuber decided to spend some time in the mountains for a bit instead.

And not strange to him to find Nu by water, he's picking up very fast that she seems to like that since he has always found her by one of the lakes or a river.

For now he's just going to watch her train until she notices him. He's wanted to see her in action, and this may well be the only way he will.]

[Well, ν-13 won't notice him just yet. She is rather focused on her training right now, after all. That hit percentage of hers needs to improve a bit more, dammit.

This time, she'll try something else - rather than attempt the same 13-hit combo again, she'll go for a variation instead. It's still a fairly simple offense by her standards, but... ah well. The more complicated techniques are pretty easy to fumble... though she'll likely try one of them sooner or later anyway. We'll see.]

[Oh, he doesn't mind if she's focused on her training. It's interesting to watch after all.

So for now he's going to just sit back and keep on watching her in action until she either stops or she notices she has an audience.]

[It is, isn't it? Even by her world's standards, her fighting style's rather unique... which makes it a little hard to deal with, but that's certainly not her problem.

She still won't take note of him just yet; instead, she'll attempt something a little more difficult, although without counting the hits. Not audibly, at least.

...Yeah, there definitely won't be much left of the piece of wood she used as a target once she finishes the combo.]

[He usually trains in those ares so prepare to have a Bang watching you train.]

Your capabilities are quite impressive..

[...Ah. Someone else was watching, huh? Not someone she recognizes, either... hm.]

...Nu is... used to combat. [Of course she's good at it as a result. On the other hand...]

But... the current training results are subpar. [A hit percentage of less than 100% is unacceptable. Simply missing once could already be a massive problem in an actual fight, after all.]

I would not consider having an accuracy of more than 99% to be an under achievement... But I do see what you're getting at.

When in combat, even the slightest mistake can prove fatal if you're not careful. However, you should also note that mistakes will be made regardless of what you do or how much you train. The real factor to winning is how well you handle those mistakes and recover from them. Not how perfect your aim is.

[Lecturing a Murakumo unit on what to do during combat, Bang? Really now?]

...Hmph. [He does have a point, but from her point of view, it's much better to just avoid mistakes altogether than to try to recover from them. But whatever.

...BACK TO TRAINING.]
