[Twirling her parasol in her fingers, Chidori walked silently beside Yoite. Despite her blank expression, she was happy to be here with the older boy. She brushed the bottom of her white sundress, looking for something to keep her occupied. She didn't want to seem like she was too happy to be with him. That might make him feel awkward.]
[Glancing to her face silently for a moment as they continued walking, he couldn't really make out any sort of expression. Maybe the girl was concentrated or maybe she was thinking about anything at all. He decided it best not to pry, instead returning his gaze towards the direction they were headed. He paused at a crossing sign, glancing both ways as he waited for the signal and then crossed the street until they were on the other side. Once again, he glanced at her to make sure she was following. They seemed to play this silence game for a while, before he finally interjected a word.] "...Chidori."
[Surprised by the mention of her name, Chidori looked up, staring into the older boy's deep blue eyes. She felt a blush come over her cheeks so she quickly looked away. Being this close to Yoite always made her happy, but showing her excitement was always difficult for her. She didn't want to seem like another one of those girls who giggled whenever the boy she liked was near.]
[He wondered in something was wrong, so he slowed down his pace to match hers. He continued to look at her for a few moments, debating if he should pry any further. Maybe it was something she didn't want to talk about? If she was anything like him, it might be best to not prod her. Instead, he turned his attention back towards their destination, wondering if he was supposed to hold her hand or not. Would that be awkward? He had never done a relationship before. These sort of things were foreign to him.]
