Things are not so well with me. But any time I read your posts I am reminded of how much worse things could be, and awed by the dignity, kindness and love with which you are facing them. I said it before and I will say it again: when my bad time comes, God send me someone like you.
Ah, dear fpb, I'm saddened to hear that things are not going well. I take heart that, in reading these posts, you yourself are heartened. That someone else can find good in Jane's struggles and ours gives us meaning, too.
I must immediately confess, however, that I most definitely do not always face these struggles with dignity, kindness & love, though I try. And I would say again, as I've said before, when your bad time comes, as when my bad times come and come again, I most of all want God to send God.
So do we! Jane is spending most of her days, now, sleeping. And she's extremely tired. When she gets that way, she starts imagining things, like there's another man running around the house. I tell her she shouldn't keep extra men around, and she laughs. But it's still hard on her.
For Jane, not just chocolate, but FUDGE. Fortunately, as you may remember, there are several nearby shops that carry fudge. In teeny GMF, there's even a fudge shop! Jane's immune system has some spark in it, but it does keep us alert.
And we, too, have memories we treasure from your visit.

I'm glad Jane is doing better, and I'm glad you're getting over what you had.

Give Madame Pomfrey a call - I am sure she will help you out.
Even with a detour ti sounds as though you two are settling into a rthym of life at this point. Minus the illinesses this is a positive sign.
Just keep smiling.

I sure hope Jane doesn't get the bronchitis as nasty as you did. Hopefully her immune system has some kick in it. :)
