Yeah, well, if I didn't do them like this, I wouldn't bother posting at all, tbh. I have too many things going on to sit down and compose a giant update or a meme when I could just ramble it out in ten minutes.

YAYAY. I loved your audio review. I agree with you about the Bella/Molly duel. She wasn't supposed to smile after killing Bella, and it just didn't have the tension which was there in the book. :/

I completely agree with you re Bella/Molly duel, and I liked Alan Rickman too :)

What annoyed me the most was that this was the shortest film, and they missed out as much as they did. *scowls* And the elder wand bit was so, so stupid. How could Harry have fixed his wand? And surely if he could just snap his wand in half, Dumbledore would have done that before? Arrrghhh.

What did you think of the Romione bits? I thought it was well-done, mostly, but the bit when Ron says "that's my girlfriend" or something like that, that was just overkill. Having said that, Rupert and Emma were great. Not too sure about Dan, though.

I think it would have been better if I watched part 1 before going to the cinema to watch part 2. My friend watched one after the other, and she said she had no complaints, so I think part of my problem with it was that I watched it disjointedly.

I was wondering why Harry didn't fix his wand before he snapped the other one, but oh well. It is what it is. As for the Romione, it was far better than yet another craptacular Harry/Ginny kiss. Urgh. Dan and Bonnie have as much chemistry as ammonia and battery acid. For what it's worth, though, I actually thought Dan was great and that it was, by far, his best film.

Since I went with someone who hadn't seen the first film, we watched that first before going. So I didn't hit the same "whoa, we're really into the story already" speedbumps. But I can totally see how that would be the case.
