It's been a long time since I've updated. AIM has generally kept you all in the loop about the minutia of my life, boring as it is, so I don't feel entirely remiss in neglecting LJ, which I decided to actually PAY for. Yes, I'm one of those, lol.

Btw, I swear I haven't been ignoring you on AIM. I've just not been on for any more than a few minutes at a time and can't really hold down a conversation. When you message me, it's almost ALWAYS when I'm at work, lol.

Uhm, well when I counted my word count for April, it was 36k. That didn't include discussions or reviews, but I never write that much in them.

Despite the over-warmth of the room, I just shut the window and turned on a fan. It went on for another hour before I did so, but I couldn't take it anymore. Merlin!

There was something very ... cathartic about reading this post. Also, Jess, you are the most articulate person on LJ. I just love reading anything you write, even though half of it is you being crazy lady across the pond.

Someone has to be the crazy lady. I happen to possess the necessary qualifications. Which is one reason why I should probably continue to abstain from owning a cat...

One of my neighbours played the Adele album on repeat all day FOR TWO WEEKS! As if we don't hear enough of the woman on the radio. We saw a police car pull up outside her house the other day, and since then we haven't heard it. I think someone complained, and I really don't blame them.

I am totally guilty of listening to the same songs over and over again, but I have the courtesy to play them at a volume to keep it so I am the only one listening. I am baffled as to why anyone could possibly assume that the rest of the neighbourhood wants to listen to the same exact thing. >.>
