Author Page Numerology

My recent appearance on MNFF's Top Ten Most Prolific page yesterday sparked an interesting train of thought in my head (interesting to me, at any rate. Maybe to you). Formerly, my goal was to punt Cwiddy, but as Natalie got there first, it became my onerous task to supplant the legendary Vindictus Viridian. I almost didn't want to do it, since my ( Read more... )

reviews, randomness, should be doing something productive, pontification, writing, mnff, vojp, mods, fan fiction, obsession, poetry

*tackle*

I suppose I had to talk myself into believing that I deserve to be on this list with everyone else on it.

When one of us eventually conquers Paige's gimmicky poetry spam.

Gotta love wicked_visions

Paige did something odd because she jumped about 14 fics in one week without loading them all. She was on 66 or 68 cause that was my target and then she leapt up to 80. That was without posting. I think she may have had another account and merged the two. I will catch her ... but not to the extent that I chuck the revolting mess that is Sev/Umbridge on the site (despite Bine telling me it was good - er, no, I do have some integrity)

I can't remember who I displaced, or when I got on the list. Actually, I only remember BB telling me I was on it - ha ha - I had no idea about the stats at the time.

I bet you're a closet Jemzi fan ...

Thinking back ... I think I had to hit number 38 or 39 which makes it either a poem (The Labyrinth Mind) or The Bacchus Book.

I did it in 19m from when I first joined the boards, but 16m from when I had my first fic validated.

Um last rejection ... it was either for Snapdragons March 09 by Bine, or a chapter of Lions (Godric's Hollow) by the redoubtable VV who rejected for 'runons' and 'bad Severus characterisation' - ha ha - I look back and totally agree with her.

*squishes fellow prolific person*

I've been scouting the competition. Magical Maeve was the bane of my Winter Snows endeavours. Moving her down a spot will make me feel vindicated.

Gah, I megaloathe Jemzi. I enjoyed MTT because I was brand new and really liked the idea of villains in love. How was I to know that embracing the villain as a villain and not a sex god was far more fab? That being said, I still enjoy MTT. Finding Her Voice was a decent read, but I agree that Harper Riley was a ridiculous!Sue.

I think the thing with Paige was a site glitch. I went through at the story titles, and nothing seemed unfamiliar from the last time I trolled her 68 fic author page. Keep looking, though... if she is busted, I will giggle.

47 is my favourite number so it's twice as awesome that you are now on that list. :D

It's like a really big plot thing in my favourite tv show Alias. And I just love how random and weird it is, so yeah . . . :)
