Upgrading a computer has always been a perilous task for me. Needing more memory, I got my "computer geeks" to transfer everything from my old 40 GB hard drive to the new, magic 320 GB hard drive. That included my calendar program and my address book, both of which are old MS DOS programs

Well done for getting there! I have started storing a lot of my pics and videos on an external harddrive at least then I know if the computer conks out or needs replacing I have the files....

I'm glad you got it all sorted out now though. I still have things on my old computer that conked out that I can't get to.
