I was hoping to have one of my many (many) WiP's finished and ready to post for today but finals got in the way so that's not going to happen. Instead, I bring you a very old fic, started years ago (long before the Crap-tastic Nightmare that was DH ever came out) and hopefully, posting the first chapter here will help jump-start my muses so I can ( Read more... )

Oh, what a fabulous beginning with so much room for trouble. I love that Hermione is Harry's one guiding light, his anchor.

I like the beginning. Especially the way you connect Hermione and Harry on a deeper level, once that supersedes the evil influence of RED HAIR! Interesting, though- I don't want to see a triangle between the three as much as Ginny seeing Harry slipping away and how that drives her to tighten her hold over him- maybe she makes up memories? Maybe She tries to force Harry to remember her physically? Stuff like that. Does Hermione at this point have feelings for Harry?

Keep up the GREAT work!!

Nice! I was reading along, pleasantly happy that Harry attached some deeper subconscious significance/recognition to Hermione - of course! - when all of a sudden --

The red-headed she-devil materialised, and I went to DEFCON 1.

Funny how I'd been lulled into a false sense of security. Still, from the looks of it, I don't have to worry about amnesiac Harry lusting after Ginny, given his reaction - good boy! - unless she lies to him about their prior relationship, maybe. But would it even be a lie? "Harry, we were in love, you put it on hold while you went off to defeat the dark lord ... you've done that now" ... followed by a 'HARD, BLAZING LOOK' ATTACK! Will this Harry manage to resist?

Nice story....I try to read all Your stories. I like to print them and read them on my commute to work and down times at work. Portkey is the best place to print....so, I hope you will post it there soon. Thanks for the hard work on all these great stories.
